### Module 1: Introduction and Orthographic Projections of Points, Lines and Plane

This module covers, “Significance of Engineering drawing, BIS Conventions of Engineering Drawing, Free hand sketching of engineering drawing, Scales. Introduction to Computer-Aided Drafting software, Co-ordinate system and reference planes HP, VP, RPP & LPP of 2D/3D environment. Selection of drawing sheet size and scale. Commands and creation of Lines, coordinate points, axes, poly-lines, square, rectangle, polygons, splines, circles, ellipse, text, move, copy, off-set, mirror, rotate, trim, extend, break, chamfer, fillet, and curves.”

### Module 2: Orthographic Projection of Solids

This module covers, ” Isometric scale, Isometric projection of hexahedron (cube), right regular prisms, pyramids, cylinders, cones and spheres. Isometric projection of combination of two simple solids.”

### Module 3: Isometric Projections

This module covers, “Introduction, methods of determining the centroid, locating the centroid of simple figures from first principle, the centroid of composite and built-up sections.”

### Module 4: Development of Lateral Surfaces of Solids

This module covers, “Types of loads and types of supports, statically determinate and indeterminate beams, support reactions in beams, Numerical problems on support reactions for statically determinate beams.”

### Module 5: Engineering Applications of Engineering Graphics

The module covers, “Sketching and Drawing Simple Mechanisms, Wiring and lighting diagrams using CAD software, Basic Building Drawing, Electronic Drawing- PCB Drawings.”
